 Life has been full.
I realize the little baby birds with featherless wings who used to wake up every now and then for a bottle of milk were no longer babies
as I, at this instant, got plenty of sleepy good nights  to enjoy.
You know how luxurious sleep for me.

I'm mostly sleeping through the night these days and it's awesome!
There were times when I was sleeping three hours a night on a good night
and I'm sure there are many of you out there who deals with the same sleeplessness.
But I'm a super so despite of working the next day early morning I could still manage with no sleep.
And every morning I woke up with kisses and my heart is full.

The last few weeks were filled with different epic stories and came good news
and in some way, I got chances spent with friends.
I celebrated my veerrrryyy looonng years with ENC and noted  this year as the most special one.
I felt a little lonely in some days so I cooked a lot.

Also, so much thoughts and learnings came in.
Much of these are the realities that sometimes in our life there are circumstances that people disappoint you
and I've learned my lesson the hard way,
what lesson is that?
Well, I leave it all to you. Lol!
Clue is, on things you can’t afford to lose.
And part of the realization is that there are just people who are unretentive?
Whoa! As I have mentioned earlier,
I learned my lessons well…

On Mondays I bonded with some parents at Ora’s school who were older than me.
We talked different things, the happy buzz from the day and the knowledge that the world is filled with such wonderful human beings.
I realized that I’m still young, so much to learn and to experience.
So much goodness to be found and shared.

Everyday is a new adventure!
And for me, will be new and excitingly different adventures to come!

On the other note,
part of a happy childhood is going barefoot.
The freedom you have and the feeling that the earth beneath you is a grounding experience.
So if you never had this in your childhood,
go on... walk with freedom!

Enjoy the current season of you life!
Thank you for dropping by!

It’s been so dark and gloomy out lately that I’ve finally come to accept that summer’s officially ended.

One cold rainy night while other neighbors’ homes were still dark along with those empty houses neighboring ours, I saw a joyous naive little girl full of cheer upon seeing me arrived. She ran towards me while the door was still half open. I received a heartfelt hug from her on that very moment. What’s more delighting was when she said: “ Mama Da! Yey! Mama Da! Mama Da! Mama Da! while in between hugs on my waist and excitements and leaps I saw, she asked me “Kumusta Mama Da?? Yey Mama da! Mama Daaaaa!” And more hugs and jumps followed. That’s how I’m constantly greeted each night. The thing I always look forward to as I head home.

Then she sat on the chair on our terrace while her eyes were on me as I place my umbrella on the table then in her soft tune she sang a song familiar to me. Placing her right hand on her head then she acted a salute signal…

“ Marcha, Marcha, gagmay na sudalow! Dagkow na sundalow! Taas na sundalow!
Marcha, marcha isowg na sundalow! Sundalow sa Ginu-ow!”

“Wow! Very good Ora! , I responded.

Then she made some soft clappings…

“Kung matapos na ang gera ban! Ban! Ban!...

May Koronata! May Koronata!”

Oh! I’m happy that on  her first 2 weeks learning at school in Pre-K she got to sing that bisaya song with her slight English twang at the end of every verses. Then I found myself imitating her lines and actions with Quad vigorously dancing with his tapping steps.

As the season has changed, along with this change are changes at home too with the rest of us in the family.

Lately, Ora have been learning different songs every week. A month has gone and she’s getting used to mingling with her peers. Occasionally she get’s irritated and would at times result to her wanting to go home. There were also days were she make it a habit of sleeping in the classroom with all those noises and visible chaos surrounding her. Yet, she has this extreme, powerful habit of paying no attention to these hurdles of resting. She would comfortably lie on top of their spacious table whenever she wants.

Ora catches on things without difficulty. She has fine memory, her teachers have told me. When she wanders inside the classroom, when she stands up and checks on things on the wall and onto her teachers table, she too cautiously listen on what’s going on inside, though her glances were of nowhere.  However, she at times doesn’t listen to her teacher when asked to comport and conduct herself properly in most classroom settings.

Quad, on the other note, is still my sweet little boy, wanting to be played by everyone at home. As he grows each day, I see a little boy crowned with brightness. We’re always welcome with his delightful smile early morning and every night as I return home. Right now, I still have few words to describe Quad as I am still discovering more about this little boy each day. He likes clinging to and once he does, all the cling rings never ends…

The love of Jesus, Sweet and marvelous
O..o.. Wonderful love…

Higher than the sky, Deeper than the ocean
Wider than the universe
O..o.. Wonderful love…

I heard her singing that song this morning while she’s eating breakfast with me and Oscar having his coffee and pandesal.

Isn’t the love of Jesus something wonderful?

He spoke to us through my daughter’s voice. We were reminded again that we’re indeed in his realm of glory. Boundless as the universe around us, and Love beyond our human comprehension.

Happy Sunday!
