I'm a wife to Oca III, a teacher, a friend. I'm passionate about writing and photos and an avid life- documenter. This blog, which started on May 08, 2010, gives me the opportunity to share my heart with a few friends. Enjoy! Take a peek of my awesome family! Through all of the posts and a crazy amount of pictures, we hope to document all of the silly details of raising our two precious kids, Ora & Quad IV. We also hope to share some of the fun things that we do around our beautiful sub-urb life... Kisses!

Woah!
March came so quickly!
We had a weekend all to ourselves, and it was just pure bliss!
One of the days was absolutely beautiful along with the perfect breezy and cloudy day
so we all went outside, with my little family of four humans and treated Ora for a job well done.

Here's a couple more photos from our weekend.

Happy Wednesday!

This month's big news belonged to Ora!

Mama Da, walang ribbons si baby Quad?...

Wala... Si Ora lang....

Dodong... wala ka ribbon...

I told her before that if she doesn't like going to school, it would be fine then. No hurry! ...
but she has always been eager to go to school...
not to mention even studying at wee hours of the night without telling her to do so....

Si Ora, how many ribbons?

12 ribbons!!!

Then she went back to our room...

Mama Da!

Yey! Kumusta Mama Da?

(and Quad wuld too say "Yey!" in the background)

Punta na tayo sa SM, bili nang dress?

The week before her recognition,
Oscar told her to buy her a dress and so every time I arrive home from work
she would always asked me that
and I was wondering how did she know that we're buying her a dress...
so we went and shop for her dress and she picked colors red, white and blue...

The grand thing about our life is that while some days are utterly and totally terrible, others are delightful and astoundingly sensible!
and there are certain things people are not allowed to say about our house and one of them is "it's boring"
...because it's not....

...because there is a big world out there!...
There's a world in our books and crayons and words...
...and there's a world in our yards...
with insects and leaves and flowers...
... and there are these two little humans creating a big world for us!

Here are some of the stills from this month's movingness outside and at home.

Final weeks of February until around the first two weeks of March were busy weeks...
I haven't blogged in over a  month, and it has been a strange one.
I have to take a little time off of blogging
for reasons I will soon put into words...
For now these are just general overview of somethings going on round those parts!

February 12, 2014

Happy February! See you in a while!

For now, I'll take a little time off from blogging.
I'll be back soon!
I have to devote myself for  some important tasks I needed to finish soon.

It's going to be something awesome!

Heyyoooowwwwhhh!!! How was your Christmas last year?
It's January 8th already! (Yeah, forgive me for posting so-so late!)

Where did my first week of 2014 go?
All I’ve done so far was to  clean up my computer and files,
transfered personals files, photos from phones to my computer, tutorials with Ora,  errands , etc. It’s crazy!

The past weeks have been a complete whirlwind.
We started our Christmas shopping on Christmas Eve,
after we got all caught up from other tasks mostly when we took Quad early morning to the hospital.

Then of course celebrated with family on Christmas day,
and the day after Christmas.

Honestly, I almost feel like we skipped the whole Christmas season & New Year because I didn't have much time to enjoy it.

However, it was certainly an unforgettable holiday spent with people we care for, and that's something to be grateful.

New Year came, I started worrying about my 2014 and the next storms coming our way.

My 2013 was full of extremes but I am glad that now it had left. Beyond that, my noteworthy 2013 offered me so much! This realization makes me even more grateful for the people who chose to stay in my life. They are my greatest blessings!

The people who have entered my life (even if they left, good or bad) have made their impact. They were there for a reason. Whether it was to teach me something, make me smile, make me cry, piss me off, BUT MOST OF ALL THESE PEOPLE MADE ME GROW! They had their own purpose for being part of my 2013.

I remembered the message at new year’s eve Mass, although it wasn't an absolutely clear statement from the priest as we were so far from the chapel.

"That we're still not in control, no matter how we plan everything in our life." That there is reason why there's both joys and sorrows life brings. That there is no other security in life, but the security of knowing exactly who you can come home to and always rely on. We just have to live through everything with gratitude.

This picture I took Ora last Christmas in Oscar's hometown, where she's running and running and she is so sure! She isn't overthinking anything, even  trying to map out her journey. She's just... going... and going...in this very unstoppable way! Like a wave and how all you can do is ride along.

Nobody can stop her.

Nothing can tell her which way to go.

Where is she going?

She doesn't know.

She just moves with faith and spirit, with freedom and assurance and fearlessness because for her falling isn't a sign to stop.
It's a mark to keep going!

Someone once told me that the way you spend your New Years is the way you will spend the rest of the year. Partly true few years ago. But this year, I don't have a plan. NO thesis statement, NO theme! I don't know what is gonna happen this year. It would be nice to wake up feeling inspired every morning, lived up by the magic that surrounds us. But that isn't where I am at the moment and that's okay, too.

Sometimes there is magic  and sometimes there is not. Sometimes there are signs to point us in the right direction and sometimes we just have to go with the flow!

Sometimes we wake up in a new year with all of the answers and sometimes, they come later...

I hope you all have a wonderful New year!

Enjoy the current season of your life!

Thank you for dropping by.
